About the Role:
Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our front desk team! In this overnight role, you'll be the face of our hotel during the late-night hours, ensuring guests feel welcome while keeping our financial records accurate and our operations running smoothly.



Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions and reconcile daily revenue reports
• Provide exceptional guest service at the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally during overnight hours
• Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using the property management system
• Balance and verify cash drawer, credit card transactions, and daily posting summaries
• Prepare and distribute daily reports for department managers and leadership
• Monitor hotel security and ensure the safety and comfort of overnight guests

Requirements:

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic accounting or bookkeeping skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS); Hyatt or Opera experience a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, independent work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business coursework a plus
