Job Full Description

We are seeking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Shift Office Admin/Dispatcher to join the team at a food distribution center in Oakland, CA. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can work independently.

This is a strictly full time, night shift position. From 5:00pm-3:30am; applicants must be fully committed to working nights.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch and communicate with drivers throughout the night
  • Prepare and process invoices
  • Serve a primary point of contact
  • Maintain accurate operational records
  • Monitor transportation routes and adjust as needed
  • Assist with scheduling, workflow planning
Qualifications:
  • Experience with dispatching and route planning
  • Experience in supervisory positions in transportation, logistics, warehouse or food distribution is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and genera; computer applications
  • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Committed to working overnight hours
