Job Description
We are seeking candidates who are confident working autonomously in a diagnostic-driven clinical setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough medical disability evaluations for Veterans
- Conduct physical examinations, review patient histories, and evaluate how conditions impact daily functioning
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and provide medical opinions using electronic medical record systems
- Ensure all documentation meets VA standards for accuracy and compliance
- Work collaboratively with case management and quality assurance teams
- Submit completed exam reports within 24–48 hours
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Minimum of one year working as NP in primary care
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Experience with electronic medical records, web-based platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong diagnostic abilities and clinical documentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Work Hours: 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday) 8 am - 6 pm
