Description
Vertex LLC is a leading behavioral health organization located in New York City, committed to providing exceptional care to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive OASAS Facilities Coordinator to manage and oversee the maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of all OASAS-licensed facilities. The Facilities Coordinator will ensure that all sites meet organizational standards and OASAS requirements, supporting the ongoing delivery of high-quality services in a safe and well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of facility maintenance and safety across all OASAS-licensed sites.
Coordinate inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with OASAS standards and local regulations.
Serve as liaison with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding facility-related issues.
Maintain up-to-date records of facility inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to address facility needs and support program operations.
Assist with emergency preparedness planning and implementation to ensure client and staff safety.
Support budgeting and procurement processes related to facility management.
Requirements
Previous experience in facilities coordination, management, or a related field, preferably within healthcare or behavioral health settings.
Knowledge of OASAS regulations and facility compliance standards is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency preparedness planning.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software.
