Pay Range: $36.75 - $47.82 per hour

Job Summary

Reporting to the Quality Improvement Manager, this position provides technical and administrative support for Home Care clinical documentation. The Specialist ensures that OASIS data and ICD-10 coding are accurate and compliant with State and Federal regulations from a technical standpoint. This role focuses on data integrity, workflow efficiency, and the precise application of coding guidelines to support the agency"s financial and regulatory health

Minimum Qualifications

• Education

• Bachelor preferred.

• Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in home health coding or health information management preferred.

• Licensure and/or Certification

• Home Care Coding Specialist (HCS-D) required

• Home Care Clinical Specialist-OASIS (HCS-O), or Certification of OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) required

• Skills

• Proficiency in OASIS, PPS, and Medicare COP's.

• Strong attention to technical details.

• Computer literacy
