LHH is proactively seeking an organized, professional, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support one of our clients on a contract basis in the Houston area. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office, providing administrative support to internal teams, coordinating office activities, and delivering excellent customer service.

Role Summary
As an Office Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting team productivity. You will manage administrative tasks, coordinate schedules, assist with office communications, and serve as a key point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping operations organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations
Manage daily office activities and administrative functions.
Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate purchasing as needed.
Ensure common areas, conference rooms, and office spaces remain organized and professional.
Assist with office policies, procedures, and documentation updates.
Administrative Support
Provide administrative assistance to leadership and departmental teams.
Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documents.
Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and arrange travel when required.
Maintain accurate filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Front Desk & Customer Service
Greet visitors and provide a welcoming professional experience.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Handle inquiries from clients, vendors, and employees effectively and professionally.
Coordinate visitor access and meeting room reservations.
Data Entry & Record Management
Enter, update, and maintain records within company systems.
Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly organized.
Assist with processing forms, invoices, expense reports, and related administrative paperwork.
Support reporting and recordkeeping initiatives.
Vendor & Facilities Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and building management as needed.
Track office maintenance requests and facility-related issues.
Assist with procurement and vendor documentation.
Support onboarding logistics for new employees.
Team & Project Support
Assist with special projects and company initiatives.
Coordinate office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Support cross-functional teams with administrative and operational needs.
Help ensure deadlines and project milestones are met.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Experience
2+ years of administrative, office coordination, or office management experience.
Experience supporting multiple departments or executives preferred.
Previous experience in a professional office environment required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with scheduling software, office management tools, and databases preferred.
Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
