We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our tutoring center. As the primary point of contact for students, this individual will handle phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, maintain records, perform general clerical tasks, and provide administrative support to tutors. The ideal candidate is punctual, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and personable, with strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills. They must work independently while contributing to a welcoming, efficient learning environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current WSU student.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and office organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to contribute beyond the basic job requirements.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Work Study eligible
