Hosoi Garden Mortuary, Inc. is a locally owned company proudly serving the Oahu community for over 120 years. We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Office Assistant / Receptionist to support daily office operations for our Life Plan Office.
**Schedule**
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available)
**Key Responsibilities**
• Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service
• Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system
• Process payments and assist customers
• Manageappointment schedules and support Sales team
• Perform data entry, filing, and document preparation
• Maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies
• Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects
• Ensure a clean and welcoming office, including upkeep of common areas
**Qualifications**
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of customer service or office experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
**Work Environment**
Professional office setting with regular computer use; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
