On-Call Building Substitute Teacher

Indian Community School is seeking an On-Call Building Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to teach various K-8 grade levels. Hours vary from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm - Monday-Friday. Duties include the following:

• Ensure a high-quality teaching and learning environment.
• Assist with the implementation of all lessons and units to support student learning in grade-level content areas.
• Administers classroom assessments, maintains records, and completes end-of-year grading process.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that focus on building positive relationships with students.
• Strong oral, written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Substitute Teaching License
• Acceptable background check and drug screen
