Onsite | Project Coordinator — $35–$45/hour

We are sharing a specialised full-time opportunity for experienced Project Coordinators with strong backgrounds in AI data operations, cross-functional programme support, and large-scale project delivery.

This role supports advanced generative AI research and data operations, acting as an operational bridge between programme leadership, research and product teams, and growing groups of domain experts. Selected professionals will coordinate workflows, translate programme requirements into clear guidance, monitor project quality and delivery, and help keep complex AI data initiatives running effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Operations

• Serve as a day-to-day coordination point across AI data and research projects
• Support programme leads in managing workflows, priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Translate leadership inputs into clear operational guidelines for expert teams
• Track project progress and ensure key activities remain organised and on schedule
• Identify potential roadblocks early and coordinate appropriate follow-up and resolution

Team Coordination & Expert Support

• Support the onboarding and ongoing coordination of domain experts as programmes scale
• Communicate project requirements, updates, and workflow changes clearly across teams
• Coordinate large, cross-functional groups working across AI research and data operations
• Help ensure experts have the information and resources required to complete project work effectively
• Provide operational support as project requirements evolve

Quality & Process Improvement

• Identify recurring quality issues and investigate potential root causes
• Communicate findings and operational insights across relevant teams
• Contribute to the development and refinement of project guidelines
• Work with research, product, and programme stakeholders to improve workflow consistency
• Help implement process improvements that support quality, scalability, and delivery

Programme Reporting & Business Reviews

• Participate in weekly business and project reviews
• Maintain clear notes, action items, ownership, and follow-up activities
• Lead or facilitate project calls when required
• Track deliverables and operational metrics using Google Sheets, Excel, and related tools
• Provide clear status updates to programme leadership and stakeholders

Data & Technical Coordination

• Manage structured project and operational data using Excel, Google Sheets, and similar tools
• Apply SQL and basic coding knowledge where relevant to project workflows
• Support data-driven analysis of project performance, quality, and delivery
• Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across AI programmes
• Adapt quickly to changing tools, processes, and programme requirements

Ideal Profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in project coordination, project management, programme operations, or a closely related role
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate large and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience with AI training data, human-data programmes, AI evaluation, or comparable AI-related projects
• Experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Team Lead, Engineering Programme Manager, or expert contributor within AI or data operations
• Prior experience coordinating AI or data programmes within large technology organisations is highly valued
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and structured data management
• Familiarity with SQL and basic coding
• STEM background is strongly preferred
• Previous people-management experience or demonstrated ability to lead large groups effectively
• Strong organisational, written communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly as project needs evolve
• Must be based in the United States
