The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational takes place March 1-7, 2027, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million dollars. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event. Benefitting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, and The First Tee Florida Gold Coast, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:

This internship will focus on the planning and execution of the on-site course build. This candidate will work directly with the Operations Director and work with tournament vendors. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, keen to details, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.

Position Details:

• Assist with the planning and execution of onsite tournament operations, including advance setup, tournament week operations, and breakdown
• Support the development and execution of site-build plans, operational timelines, and vendor schedules
• Assist with the fulfillment and inventory of tournament signage, equipment, and tent-related materials
• Act as secondary point of contact for vendors and assist with setup, deliveries, access, and operational needs
• Conduct site walk-throughs throughout the build process to monitor progress and identify outstanding operational needs
• Compile and maintain inventory of storage equipment and tournament assets
• Assist tournament partners and vendors with on-site activations during tournament week
• Aid in miscellaneous operational duties required on-course and in the tournament office
• Respond to day-to-day operational needs across the tournament site, which may require transporting materials and completing physically demanding tasks

Qualified Applicants Must Have:

• A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
• Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding work, including repeatedly lifting and carrying items weight 50+ pounds, moving equipment, loading and unloading materials, and being on your feet for extended periods
• Comfort working primarily outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, long hours, and weekends
• Great attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning at all levels
• Full availability during advance and tournament week (February 22 - March 8)
• Internships will run from January 6 - March 12, 2027

Eligibility

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period while receiving academic credit
• Applicants should reside near Boca Raton or be willing to commute to Boca Raton
• A resume and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment to the application
