Operations Specialist

SBS Creatix is hiring Operations Specialists to support a major financial services firm's registration and compliance team in St. Louis. This is a 6-month contract engagement on a fast-moving team that keeps the firm's broker registrations clean, current, and FINRA-compliant. If you like solving problems, working through high volumes of detail without losing accuracy, and being the person the team can count on — this one's for you.

Engagement Details

.         Responsibilities

• Process U4 and U5 filings for broker registrations and terminations
• Field incoming registration phone calls and email inquiries
• Work through compliance-related tasks and ensure accuracy of registration data submitted to FINRA
• Manage and execute day-to-day operational needs of the firm in a fast-paced environment
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help refine procedures
• Prepare and present operational reports to leadership
• Stay current on industry best practices, FINRA regulations, and compliance requirements
  
  Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail — small errors have real consequences in registration and compliance work
• Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized when the volume picks up
• Clear written and verbal communication — you'll be on the phone and in email throughout the day
• Comfort with data management, process documentation, and risk awareness
• Adaptability — priorities shift, and you can shift with them

  
  Education

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

  
  Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with FINRA registration, U4/U5 filings, or broker-dealer compliance
• Background in financial services operations, registration, or licensing
