About CBRE and the Role

CBRE is the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment company. As we expand our Organization Design, Change & Transformation practice, we are seeking a Manager-level consultant who is passionate about helping organizations evolve, transform, and perform at their best. This role partners directly with C-suite executives and senior leaders within Fortune 500 Corporate Real Estate organizations to design future-ready operating models, organizational structures, governance frameworks, and workforce strategies.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a consultant with approximately 4 to 6 years of experience in organization design, operating model design, organizational effectiveness, or management consulting who wants to make a measurable impact while growing within a global market leader outside the "Big 4" consultancies.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead organization design and operating model projects that support business transformation, growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring efforts, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Assess current-state organizational structures, spans and layers, role clarity, decision-making frameworks, workforce composition, and operating model effectiveness.
  • Develop future-state organization designs, governance models, reporting structures, and role definitions that align with business strategy and operational objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, evaluate organizational challenges, and build alignment around recommendations.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify organizational effectiveness opportunities and support recommendations with fact-based insights.
  • Develop implementation plans, change impacts, and transition strategies to support successful adoption of new organizational models.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Talent Management, Finance, Corporate Real Estate, and business leaders to ensure organization solutions are scalable and sustainable.
  • Provide project management and engagement leadership for organization design initiatives, including work planning, milestone tracking, risk management, stakeholder communications, and deliverable development.
  • Create executive-level presentations and reports that communicate findings, recommendations, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Support job architecture, role design, accountability frameworks, and organizational governance initiatives as needed.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of organization design methodologies, operating model frameworks, and organizational effectiveness principles to solve complex business challenges.
  • Coach team members and project participants by sharing expertise and leading best practices in organization design and workforce transformation.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values. Work to build consensus and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities across multiple functions and business units.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies while exercising independent judgment.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information to senior leaders and stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4-6 years of relevant experience primarily in Organization Design, Operating Model Design, Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Transformation, Management Consulting, Human Capital Consulting, or related disciplines. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience leading organization design, operating model, organizational effectiveness, or transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of organization design methodologies, workforce planning, governance frameworks, decision rights, role design, and operating model development.
  • Experience facilitating executive and stakeholder workshops and presenting recommendations to senior leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading workstreams or serving as an engagement lead on complex initiatives.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and challenge conventional approaches.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Client Consulting Consultant position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Client Consulting Consultant position is 120,000 annually.
