Overnight Cook
Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking an Overnight Cook to join our talented culinary team. This role supports the kitchen by preparing high-quality food items during overnight hours, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards.
What you will do:
- Prepare and execute high-quality food and pastry items according to established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- Set up and complete mise en place for service, ensuring readiness for breakfast and other meal periods
- Prepare food items in advance based on forecasted needs while minimizing waste
- Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and food processors
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Department of Health standards, including proper food storage and labeling
- Monitor and control food waste, usage, and cost in line with company policies
- Maintain proper temperature control and storage of all perishable items
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth overnight kitchen operations
- Support consistency in quality and presentation across all dishes
What you bring:
- Culinary degree preferred
- 2–3 years of culinary or related experience
- Strong knife skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
