Step into a 12‑month, on‑site contract supporting a premier client in Wilmington, IL 60481. You will help keep high-speed packaging lines running smoothly, ensuring every finished can and case ships out safe, accurate, and on time.

A day in the life

You start your 12-hour day shift by checking the line status and staging cartons, trays, tape, and labels so production never pauses. As cans move down the conveyor, you keep an eye on labelers, sealers, and palletizers—making quick, basic adjustments when needed and calling maintenance if something requires extra attention. You verify codes and label accuracy, pull any nonconforming items off the line, and record packaging data and downtime. Before handoff, you help load, palletize, and ready finished goods for shipment. Throughout the day, you follow PPE and safety protocols and keep your area clean, organized, and audit-ready.

Location, schedule, and pay

• Primary location: Wilmington, IL 60481
• Contract length: 12 months
• On-site role; 12-hour day shifts
• Current day-shift team options: Sunday–Tuesday (days) or Wednesday–Friday (days)
• Day shift pay: $20.81 per hour

What you will do

• Package finished cans/products to standard work and safety requirements
• Operate and monitor conveyors, labeling systems, sealing equipment, and palletizing systems
• Inspect products and materials, removing any off-spec items
• Confirm correct labels, codes, and pack configurations for all SKUs
• Keep packaging supplies (cartons, trays, tape, labels, etc.) stocked to prevent downtime
• Perform minor machine tweaks; escalate equipment issues to maintenance
• Meet site PPE, safety, and housekeeping expectations at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation to support safe, efficient flow
• Log production counts, packaging metrics, and downtime
• Assist with loading, palletizing, and preparing finished goods for shipment
• Collaborate with operators, leads, and supervisors to hit production goals
• Contribute ideas that drive continuous improvement and efficiency
