A day in this role

Your shift begins with a handoff from the Team Leader and line technicians. You’ll rotate across production lines, independently monitoring product quality and packaging output. With a keen eye, you spot defects before they leave the floor, assemble and label boxes correctly (no product mix-ups), and keep your work area organized, clean, and safe. When scrap occurs, you’ll help grind materials as needed, and you’ll also pitch in to train teammates when asked. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team and help ensure daily production targets are met.

Compensation, shifts, and breaks

• Starting pay: $19.32/hr
• Day shift: 5:20am – 5:30pm (3 paid breaks)
• Night shift: 5:20pm – 5:30am (3 paid breaks)

Two-week schedule rhythm

• Week 1: Monday (work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work)
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF)

What you’ll take ownership of

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly workspace
• Visually inspecting product for quality compliance
• Ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded
• Building boxes and packing the correct product — no mixing
• Meeting daily production goals
• Accurately identifying and labeling each packed case
• Assisting with grinding scrap material
• Supporting training activities as needed
• Handling other duties as needed

• Ensure trainees follow established procedures in the trainer’s absence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a threat to the health and safety of fellow employees
• Read and interpret written specifications, safety guidance, and diagrams for packaging
