Trial Paralegal / Senior Legal Assistant

$85,000–$120,000 + Bonus

A well-established law firm in Northwest Houston is seeking a seasoned Trial Paralegal / Senior Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling high-volume pharmaceutical and mass tort litigation. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex cases from intake through trial.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of litigation experience (required), ideally in high-volume environments
  • Mass tort or pharmaceutical litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal e-filing systems
  • Experience with litigation support platforms (such as Relativity, DISCO, or similar)
  • Proficiency with legal research tools (PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal teams
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Managing e-filing and ensuring compliance with court deadlines
  • Supporting trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordination
  • Maintaining case files, timelines, and litigation tracking
  • Communicating with clients, attorneys, and external stakeholders
