Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Houston, TX 77056 | Up to 30 Hours/Week | Potential Full-Time Opportunity
JOIN A GROWING BOUTIQUE LAW FIRM:
We're a successful, woman-owned law firm looking for a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and office team. This is a newly created position due to company growth, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on business needs
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, takes initiative, and wants to gain experience in a professional legal environment
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage a shared administrative inbox
Answer phones and assist with client intake
Schedule meetings and manage calendars
Prepare, edit, and format documents
Organize digital and paper files
Track deadlines and send reminders
Assist with legal scheduling (training provided)
Prepare routine client correspondence
Scan, upload, and process incoming mail
Maintain office supplies and organization
Run occasional local errands
Assist with office events and special projects
Look for ways to help the team without being asked
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
At least 1+ year of administrative experience
Comfortable using a Mac
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter who takes ownership of their work
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, dependable, and proactive
Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Experience with Clio, Alt Legal, or other legal software is helpful but not required (we'll train you)
