About the Opportunity

We are seeking a patient, empathetic, and service-oriented Receptionist to support a concierge medical practice serving primarily elderly patients. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and understands the importance of making every patient feel welcomed, respected, and heard.

Exceptional customer service is essential. The right candidate will communicate clearly, listen carefully, and provide thoughtful assistance to patients who may need additional time, reassurance, or help navigating office procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with warmth and professionalism, take accurate messages, and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Greet patients and visitors and create a welcoming, comfortable office environment.
• Enter and update patient demographics, medical information, and other records accurately.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient communications.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support daily office operations.
• Handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills, with patience and empathy when assisting elderly patients and their families.
• Professional phone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when entering medical information.
• Comfort using computers and learning electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining calm, courteous, and organized.
• Previous receptionist, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time position.
• Starting pay of $20 per hour, with higher compensation available based on experience and qualifications.
• Wednesday and Friday Schedule 8:30am - 3pm
