The opportunity

The Parts Coordinator plays a vital role in managing procurement activities, supporting the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role ensures the smooth processing of purchase orders, vendor communication, and accurate documentation. The Parts Coordinator will be a key team member supporting the Finance and Operations team across North America.

A snapshot of what you will be doing here:

• Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure proper stock control and system integrity.

• Monitor and track all stock levels within the operating system to support operational needs.

• Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in the system.

• Order, receive, and properly process parts to maintain adequate inventory levels.

• Distribute parts to technicians in alignment with the preventive maintenance and repair schedule.

• Research and source parts as needed to minimize downtime and support timely repairs.

• Provide regular updates to the Workshop Manager regarding pending, backordered, or delayed parts.

• Review vendor invoices to verify pricing accuracy and ensure correct billing for received items.

• Ensure accurate labeling of inventory and maintain fixed bin locations to promote organization and efficiency.

• Generate purchase orders for the workshop as needed in emergency situations.

• Background in inventory management systems (SAP Preferred) is a must.

• Coordinate inventory management across multiple business units in one location -both GSE and Catering Trucks.

• Ability to function in a fast-paced business environment, balancing multiple tasks.

• Proven experience of 3-5 years in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the maintenance industry. Has strong analytical and project management skills.

• The pay range for this position is $30-$36/hr based on experience and qualifications.
