Parts Technical Analyst

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking Parts Inventory Specialists for temp-to-hire opportunities with a well-established equipment organization in Greensboro, NC.

This position is ideal for someone who is technically minded, comfortable reading technical drawings, and skilled at researching parts information through electronic catalogs and internal systems.

Position Details

Pay: $19.00–$20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Work Environment: Professional office with an attached warehouse

Position Overview

The Parts Technical Analyst will provide technical parts support to customers and dealer partners throughout North America. This role requires strong research, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to quickly and accurately identify the correct parts and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and respond to technical parts-identification questions
• Navigate electronic parts catalogs and technical documentation
• Interpret technical drawings and bills of material
• Provide accurate parts information by phone, email, and case-management systems
• Maintain detailed records of customer inquiries and resolutions
• Identify catalog discrepancies and assist with corrections
• Communicate product updates and technical information to customers
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to verify accurate information
• Assist with improving catalog and backend systems
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to navigate electronic parts catalogs
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of parts technical support, service, or engineering-related experience
• Experience within material handling, construction equipment, heavy trucks, automotive, industrial equipment, or a similar technical industry
• Experience working with bills of material, technical bulletins, or case-management systems
