  • Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  • Interviews patients or responsible party in the patient arrival process to obtain personal, demographic, insurance, and medical information prior to services. Enters accurate patient information into the electronic health record and scans identification and insurance cards into system. Maintains confidentiality of patient information and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Understands insurance and compliance requirements and obtains necessary signatures on appropriate forms and documents as required.
  • Obtains Prior Authorization for Radiation Treatments
  • Schedules New Consults
  • Answers all incoming phone calls by identifying self to caller in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
  • Collects pertinent patient information and scans it into department EMR.
  • Orders office/department supplies.
  • Maintains various spreadsheets for patient tracking purposes (consults received, weekly chart rounds, etc.)
  • Provide clerical support for Pluvicto procedures. Discuss scheduling with patients, coordinate schedule of procedures with PET/CT, process orders for Pluvicto, and coordinate proper billing for the procedures.

Qualifications/Training:

  • Must have typing knowledge of medical terminology
  • Must be skilled in typing and office software (Microsoft, Word, Excel, etc.)

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

Minimum of a High School Diploma/Equivalent from an accredited school
