Our client is seeking a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to manage payroll and some general accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle payroll experience, ideally with multi-state, and excellent attention to detail. This is a temp-to-hire or direct hire position.
Responsibilities
Process payroll, including bonuses, commissions, and payroll adjustments.
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, taxes, garnishments, and reporting requirements.
Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and year-end processing.
Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment discrepancies.
Apply cash receipts, submitting invoices, and generally support accounts receivable activities (no client contact or calling at all!).
Maintain accurate records and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams as the company grows.
