Payroll Processor II | Hybrid | Roseville, CA

Are you an experienced payroll professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments? We"re partnering with a large healthcare organization to hire a Payroll Processor II for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting enterprise-level payroll operations.

Location: Roseville, CA (Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

What You"ll Do

• Process end-to-end payroll for a large employee population
• Ensure payroll compliance with California and federal regulations
• Process California final termination pay accurately and within required timelines
• Utilize Workday Payroll and Kronos to process payroll transactions
• Support union payroll processing in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
• Review and reconcile payroll data for accuracy
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay issues
• Maintain payroll records and documentation
• Support payroll audits and compliance initiatives
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related concerns

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Experience processing payroll for large organizations (20,000+ employees)
• California payroll processing experience
• Experience with California final termination pay
• Workday Payroll experience
• Kronos experience
• Union payroll experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Experience researching and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Roseville, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare payroll experience
• Enterprise-level payroll operations experience
• Payroll compliance and auditing experience
• Familiarity with workforce management systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
