Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
- Processing multi-state payroll for 120+ employees
- Creating payroll-related journal entries for the general ledger
- Balancing and reconciling payroll and benefits activities
- Cross-referencing benefits enrollments including adding new hires and resolving terminations
Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Experience in professional services is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll processing software
