Payroll Specialist
Location: Seattle, On Site
Salary Range: 70,000K-85,000K DOE

This team operates with a high standard of accuracy and efficiency, leveraging UKG Pro to deliver reliable payroll operations at scale.


What you’ll be doing as the Payroll Specialist:



  • Support North America employees, and third‑party administrators from hire through retirement

  • Perform payroll processing functions in UKG Pro using established procedures

  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance requirements are consistently met

  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with statutory and corporate governance standards

  • Audit payroll data and ensure accuracy and timely processing

  • Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements to payroll processes and documentation


This Payroll Specialist role offers a blend of structure and operational impact. You’ll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed with speed, precision, and compliance while partnering closely with internal stakeholders.


What they’re looking for in a Payroll Specialist:



  • Degree in an accounting‑related field or a combination of accounting/HR education and relevant experience

  • 3-4 years of payroll experience, ideally supporting multi‑state and/or union environments within North America

  • Experience with computerized payroll systems (UKG Pro strongly preferred)

  • High proficiency in Excel and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills
