About the Role:Advance Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Minneapolis, MN! Responsibilities:- Provide school-based occupational therapy services to pediatric students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional needs and developmental challenges
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success in the classroom
- Document progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and complete required school district reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on adaptive strategies and assistive technology
Requirements:- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Minnesota state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- NBCOT certification (OTR) required or eligible
- Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload in a school setting
