    Job Purpose:

    • The Peer Support Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The role involves leveraging personal experiences with mental health recovery to inspire hope and motivate clients towards achieving their personal recovery goals. The Peer Support Specialist acts as a role model and advocate, promoting self-determination and empowerment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients in developing recovery plans and setting achievable goals, while encouraging self-advocacy and personal responsibility.
    • Facilitate peer support groups and workshops, fostering a supportive community environment.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
