    As our People & Culture Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring every employee has the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed while helping strengthen an inclusive and mission-driven workplace.


    What You'll Do

    As the People & Culture Specialist, you will:

    • Lead the onboarding process from offer acceptance through a successful first day.
    • Coordinate engaging New Employee Orientation sessions.
    • Partner with hiring managers, IT, Facilities, Payroll, and department leaders to ensure employees are fully prepared to begin work.
    • Coordinate mandatory training and maintain employee training records.
    • Support HR operations, including HRIS updates, onboarding documentation, benefits enrollment, and personnel records.
    • Monitor compliance with employment documentation, licensure, certifications, and required training.
    • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
    • Help create an outstanding employee experience that reflects Casa Esperanza's mission and values.


    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
    • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, employee onboarding, training coordination, or employee services.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
    • Spanish Bilingual Required

    Preferred Experience

    • Healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or human services experience.
    • Experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred).
    • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

    Work Status: (Hybrid)

    FT 40 Hours Monday to Friday

    Onsite (4 days) & 1 day Remote

    Location: Roxbury 2 days + Tewksbury 2 days and 1 day Remote


    What we offer:

    Casa Esperanza Benefits Package:

    • Compensation: $58,000 - $60,000 annual salary
    • 401(k) Retirement Plan: All eligible employees may elect to participate after 1 year of service. Casa Esperanza, Inc. will match a contribution of up to 6% of your annual salary
    • Holiday Pay (12 days per year + 1 floating holiday)
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) - 18 days year one, 20.5 days at year two, 23 days at year five
    • Sick Pay - 10 paid days per year
