Role: PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant Location: San Jose, CA (Remote) Duration: 12+ Months
Overview: We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Functional Consultant to support Single ID implementation within PeopleSoft HCM. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to consolidate employee identifiers, streamline employee data, improve system accuracy, and ensure payroll continuity throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead functional design and configuration for PeopleSoft Payroll and related modules.
Assess existing processes and define future-state workflows for Single ID implementation.
Support employee data mapping, conversion, validation, and payroll testing.
Evaluate the impact of consolidating multiple employee IDs on downstream payroll processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to update interfaces and integrations.
Prepare functional documentation, provide end-user training, and support go-live activities.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience implementing PeopleSoft Single ID, including consolidating multiple employee IDs and understanding downstream payroll impacts.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll processes, including:
Earn codes and earnings programs.
Paysheet build.
Retroactive adjustments.
Multiperiod payroll processing.
Experience with PeopleSoft Pay Group setup and FLSA functionality and its impact on payroll processing.
Strong functional understanding of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) rules and calculations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
