The Liver Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is one of the nation's leading transplant centers, performing approximately 150 liver transplants annually. The Liver Transplant Pharmacist is an integral member of the healthcare team across both inpatient and ambulatory settings, collaborating with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals. The pharmacist provides comprehensive medication expertise for the Liver Transplant Program, including participation in daily rounds, medication review and reconciliation, therapeutic drug monitoring, and immunosuppression management. The pharmacist also plays a role in the evaluation of patients for transplant candidacy, delivering drug information and patient discharge education, precepting pharmacy learners, contributing to clinical research, and engaging in committees and initiatives that advance the mission of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
