Job Title: PharmacistAllmed Benefits:Vision Insurance, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and 401(k)Pay Rate: $65/hr (Paid Weekly)Work Location: 4611 IVEY DR, Macon, GA, 31206Contract: 04/06/2026 to 07/04/2026Work Schedule:
  • 4pm-12 and then every other weekend 9-6.
  • Initial training period (approximately 90 days) may follow a more consistent weekday schedule before transitioning to full rotation

Position Overview:

The Pharmacist is responsible for supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while overseeing workflow, staff performance, and quality assurance within a fast-paced dispensing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily pharmacy operations, including workflow management, production quotas, and meeting deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including DEA and third-party payer requirements
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and production staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to workflow processes
  • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all prescriptions, labels, and medication packaging
  • Oversee or assist in the preparation of sterile IV medications and solutions
  • Support proper handling, storage, documentation, and inventory control of medications, including controlled substances (Schedule II)
  • Maintain accurate workflow tracking and ensure all tasks are completed daily
  • Provide coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations as required
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and medication safety practices
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
