Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Detroit, MI 48235
Shift: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Payrate: $58-$60/hour
Responsibilities:- Works under supervision of Physical Therapy supervisor
- Treats patients using standard methods (heat, cold, electricity, traction, ultrasound, exercise)
- Evaluates motor and neurological capabilities; documents findings
- Assists patients with rehabilitative exercise programs
- Instructs use of equipment (braces, splints, ambulation aids)
- Administers and interprets diagnostic tests
- Documents evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Co-signs notes from assistants, aides, and students
- Develops home care programs; educates patients and families and more
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy or accredited program certification
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
- BLS Certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
