Required Skills:
  • Current Louisiana PT or PTA license
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a specialty setting
  • Proven ability to independently manage a caseload
  • Experience working with complex patient populations including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, orthopedic surgeries, and medically complex patients
  • Strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky, or AOD
  • Knowledge of relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.) preferred

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with outpatient, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, or acute care settings
  • Prior exposure to diverse diagnoses like neuro conditions, sports medicine, pediatrics, or post-surgical care
  • Additional certifications or specialized training in neuro, ortho, or pediatric therapy

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • 1+ years of experience in specialty or acute care environments preferred
  • First-time travelers considered based on experience and skillset

Other Requirements:
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), no call or weekend duties
  • Ability to attend a brief orientation session (2-3 days) with full caseload expected by the end of the week
  • Basic dress code: Pewter scrubs for inpatient, professional attire for outpatient
  • Free parking available
  • No holiday shifts or weekend work required
  • Ability to travel within assigned facilities; no floating unless specified
  • Maintain licensure, certifications, and adhere to department-specific protocols
