Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a leading acute care hospital in Sanford, FL. The Physical Therapist will provide patient-centered rehabilitative care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient mobility, independence, and overall recovery outcomes.
This opportunity is open to both experienced therapists and motivated new graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with physician orders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families regarding exercises, therapies, and equipment use
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Promote patient safety and positive patient experiences throughout rehabilitation
- Support caseload management and patient handoffs
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care setting
