Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week contract opportunity in Columbia, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient physical conditions and functional limitations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on recovery and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and professional standards

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina or compact eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
