Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed June 22-26 (2 physicians) and June 29-July 3 (1 physician)
• 
  
• 4:1 supervision ratio with medically directed responsibilities
• 
  
• Must be able to operate independently and run own room when necessary
• 
  
• Work in 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity suite
• 
  
• Schedule: 6:00 AM start for orientation first day only, then 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (may stay later for add-on cases)
• 
  
• Board certification required with minimum 90-day credentialing timeframe
• 
  
• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• 
  
• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries
• 
  
• Must be proficient in general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
• 
  
• Experience required in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques
• 
  
• Handle obstetrical cases, open heart procedures, and complex vascular cases
• 
  
• Perform post-operative epidurals, extremity blocks, and steroid injections
• 
  
• Must be skilled in central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement
• 
  
• Responsible for CRNA supervision and ventilation management
• 
  
• Manage acute volume and blood pressure issues as needed
