Job Title: Picking & Packing Associate
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18.50 - $20.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Pick products accurately according to customer orders, packing lists, or warehouse instructions.
• Verify product names, quantities, and order information before packing.
• Pack products securely and appropriately for shipment or delivery.
• Label and prepare completed orders for the shipping or delivery process.
• Maintain an organized and orderly work area.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage, loss, or errors.
• Communicate shortages, damaged products, incorrect items, or order discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or designated supervisor.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse team members to meet daily operational needs.
• Maintain a high level of order accuracy.
• Complete assigned picking and packing tasks efficiently and productively.
• Follow established procedures and instructions.
• Maintain consistent quality in picking, packing, labeling, and order preparation.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and minimize errors.

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately pick and pack products according to instructions.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to handle products and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
