What you'll do
Learn all aspects of the manufacturing process!
- Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, including work orders, accurate time tracking and parts consumption
- Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment
- Work both independently and lead a team demonstrating safe work practices
- Accurate reporting of maintenance work performed and material and parts used on a daily basis and any associated JSA and/or SOP
- Participate in all housekeeping activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment
Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]
Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:
24 VDC, 110 and 480 3 Phase VAC electrical systems
Hydraulic Systems
Pneumatic Systems
Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling
Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types
Electrical
Hydraulic
Pneumatic
Structural
Ability to safely operate power tools
Possess own set of hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
Experience
- 5 years: Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment - Preferred
- 3 years: Proven track record of leading co-workers in a manufacturing environment
Education
- High School Equivalent or higher - Required
- Technical/other training or higher - Required
