Pre-Construction Business Development Coordiator

SNI Companies has partnered with a valued client in the commercial construction industry to find a Pre-Construction Business Development Coordinator.  This role connects new business opportunities with internal teams, helping identify qualified projects and move them into the pursuit process.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Identify and research upcoming commercial construction opportunities across Tennessee and targeted growth markets.
• Build relationships with owners, developers, architects, brokers, retailers, and other industry professionals through outreach, networking, and industry events.
• Research projects, decision-makers, procurement methods, and bid schedules; maintain an organized pipeline and track follow-ups.
• Monitor market trends and collaborate with executive leadership and estimating to qualify and pursue opportunities.

Education/Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor, construction manager, developer, architectural or engineering firm, or related commercial construction organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the commercial construction and preconstruction process, including estimating, bidding, procurement, schedules, budgets, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Excellent communication, networking, relationship-building, organization, and follow-up skills, with confidence engaging clients, industry partners, and leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with leadership and estimating teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position pay starts at $65,000 but can pay higher based on experience.   Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include:
