Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a fast -paced shop environment and capable of performing a wide range of maintenance and repair duties on heavy -duty equipment and transport units.

Key Responsibilities
<\/p>
<\/p>
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel -powered equipment
<\/span><\/li> - Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service work
<\/span><\/li> - Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, steering components, suspension systems, and driveline assemblies
<\/span><\/li> - Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems and lighting/electrical faults
<\/span><\/li> - Complete tire service and general mechanical repairs
<\/span><\/li> - Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
<\/span><\/li> - Service HVAC and air conditioning systems on fleet equipment
<\/span><\/li> - Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate equipment needs effectively
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/p>

Requirements<\/h3>
<\/p>
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel, heavy equipment, trailer, or fleet maintenance required
<\/span><\/li> - Ability to safely use diagnostic and repair equipment
<\/span><\/li> - Class A CDL is preferred but not required
<\/span><\/li> - Candidates must provide their own standard hand tools; specialty and shop equipment are supplied by the company
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Working knowledge of:

- Hydraulics
<\/span><\/li> - Air brake systems
<\/span><\/li> - Electrical diagnostics
<\/span><\/li> - Diesel engines
<\/span><\/li> - Suspension and steering systems
<\/span><\/li> - Preventative maintenance procedures
