WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The North America Basketball Sales team drives the commercial vision, distribution strategy, and marketplace growth for Nike Basketball across key retail partners. This role reports to the Senior Director, North America Basketball/Kobe Sales and works closely with account teams, merchandising, planning, marketing, and sport leadership teams to deliver profitable growth and an elevated consumer experience.

They are equally comfortable analyzing business performance, shaping seasonal strategies, and engaging directly with retail partners to unlock growth opportunities.
This leader will bring a consumer-first mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of driving results through cross-functional partnership. They possess strong organizational discipline, a solutions-oriented approach, and the ability to navigate complexity while maintaining alignment across teams and priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales, commercial strategy, marketplace management, or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
• Experience leading sales strategies with external account teams and retail partners
• Strong expertise in product distribution strategy, assortment planning, inventory management, and marketplace optimization
• Passion for Basketball and willingness to travel up to 40%

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead the commercial strategy and seasonal execution for North America Basketball within the Sport Access channel. Through close partnership with internal teams and external accounts, you will drive marketplace growth, strengthen consumer connections, and deliver against revenue, inventory, margin, and market share objectives.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Basketball sales strategy that aligns seasonal priorities, financial objectives, and marketplace opportunities.
• Partner with merchandising, planning, marketing, and account teams to create and deliver consumer-right assortments and allocation strategies.
• Lead key account sell-in activities and retail partner engagements, ensuring strong alignment on seasonal concepts, product stories, and growth opportunities.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to achieve net revenue, bookings, inventory health, profitability, and market share targets.
• Manage franchise performance, distribution strategies, and marketplace health while identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships and capture new business.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize marketplace, product, consumer, and competitive insights to inform North America and Global Basketball strategies.
• Serve as a key commercial voice across the organization, influencing decisions and fostering collaboration to deliver impactful business results.
