    Job Description

    Prime Video PXT is seeking a Principal HRBP to own and deliver on a strategy to enable organizational effectiveness, talent planning, senior leader effectiveness, and Day 1 culture for Prime Video Advertising and Shoppable Entertainment.

    Prime Video Advertising sits at the forefront of building innovative ad formats that leverage Amazon"s deep understanding of customers and world-class technology to help brands reach engaged audiences at scale. Shoppable Entertainment builds commerce experiences that allow viewers to discover and purchase products directly within the content experience.

    To be successful in this role, you must understand the business priorities - including the unique talent demands of building at the intersection of entertainment, advertising, and retail commerce - and translate those into a people strategy. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall culture of the organization. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, leverage AI tools and automation to scale your impact, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Understand business goals and translate these into a people strategy that supports the business in achieving them
    • Understand the entire talent system and each stage of the employee lifecycle while balancing this against local processes/practices and creating a consistent experience for all employees
    • Navigate the unique organizational complexity of a team that spans multiple disciplines across both Tech and Non-Tech
    • Solutions focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables. Able to identify when there is a need for local solutions vs. scalable approaches
    • Operate with autonomy, discretion and a true hands-on approach
    • Use data, org health metrics, and AI-powered analytics to surface insights, identify trends and generate recommendations for leaders
    • Proactively adopt AI tools and automation to scale HR programs, streamline workforce planning, and accelerate cycle times for talent processes
