Print Production Prepress Technologist

You will tackle

• Preflighting and correcting incoming artwork so every file is production-ready.
• Building working files; imposing for plate-making and final output.
• RIPing for proof and press; producing and verifying digital proofs.
• Creating step-and-repeat layouts and vector art for spot coatings on flexo plates.
• Auditing folding carton files for dieline fit, accuracy, and completeness.
• Applying calibrated color profiles and tools to maintain consistency.
• Generating plates and packaging the final, production-ready assets.
• Archiving and retrieving jobs using automated tools.
• Partnering with designers, customers, and production to resolve issues.
• Coordinating embossing and stamping die needs with outside vendors.
• Following work orders and schedules to hit on-time delivery.

Do you have

• 3+ years in prepress (packaging, labels, or commercial print)?
• A degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or related field (preferred)?
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and ArtPro+ on PC-based systems?
• Experience with color management, RIP software, and digital proofing (Epson/G7 a plus)?
• The ability to troubleshoot at speed in a manufacturing environment?
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and a meticulous eye?

Bonus points for

Experience with folding cartons, labels, flexible packaging, or other packaging print environments.
