Procurement Manager

Job Overview

·Facilitate the implementation of procurement strategic sourcingplans, understanding, acknowledging, and resolving roadblocks ensuring promptinitiative implementation

·Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive procurementprojects to realize PBIT (i.e. with a focus on Pre-Press materials/services andindirect spend) and non-PBIT/Working Capital benefits to the company (i.e.Supply Chain Financing initiative across region)

·Perform a geographic role – liaising with sites and supplierswithin a defined geography

to improve the interface efficiency between procurement &sites.

·Also act as the interface between Group Procurement and plants,representing plants’/regional needs in Category and Strategy development andfocusing on execution and compliance at the plant level of agreed Procurementstrategies and category plans for your area of responsibility

·Build relationships with nominated suppliers so as to position thecompany as a preferred and trusted business partner and ensure an uninterruptedsupply of quality goods at optimum cost

·Build relationship with internal stakeholders to position

·Procurement as a trusted partner to ensure early visibility ofprocurement projects ·      

·Support the selection, qualification, management and developmentof local/regional suppliers and seek to maximize the value of theserelationships for Company  

·Support and drive regional strategic initiatives (i.e. Supply ChainFinancing, Vendor Managed Inventory)

·Provide leadership in the performance management of supply ofservices

·Deliver sustainable improvements to business results incl. supplyassurance, cost, quality, service,

and innovation

Knowledge and Experience

·Minimum of three tofive years of experience in a procurement function

·Proven ability toimplement strategies in a large, complex and evolving organization

·Experience inPackaging, manufacturing or FMCG industries is desirable

·Stakeholdermanagement competence coupled with strong communication and influencing skills

·Procurement technical skills; including market analysis, supplierselection and negotiation

·Working

·knowledge of company information and data systems used byProcurement

·Understanding

·of key administrative systems that impact Procurement andsuppliers 

·Presentation,
