As a large company, they emphasize operational efficiency and strive to deliver exceptional value to their customers.Job DescriptionAs the Procurement Manager you will develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.Identify and negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term partnerships and favorable terms. This role covers raw materials as well as working with co packers and co manufacturers.Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks.Manage inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock.Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement objectives with business goals.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.Track and report key metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.This role is onsite and based near the City of Industry in Los Angeles.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
