Role: Productivity Engineer – Quality Engineering
Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of professional technology experience spanning software development, quality engineering, test automation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience with modern automated testing frameworks and scripting/programming languages.
• Strong software development background with hands-on programming and scripting experience.
• Strong experience with software testing, quality engineering, and automated testing practices.
• Experience designing, developing, or implementing test automation frameworks and reusable engineering solutions.
• Practical experience using AI and Generative AI technologies within software development, testing, automation, or engineering workflows.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including APIs, source control, CI/CD, Agile development, and automated delivery pipelines.
• Ability to evaluate existing manual processes and engineer scalable solutions that improve productivity and quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently address complex technical and organizational challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence developers, testers, architects, product owners, and technology leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technical professionals and raise the engineering capabilities of a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience introducing Generative AI, AI agents, or AI-assisted development/testing capabilities into enterprise engineering workflows.
• Experience integrating automated quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-native development and testing practices, particularly AWS.
• Experience developing productivity metrics and demonstrating measurable improvements from automation and engineering initiatives.
• Experience managing large consultant or vendor-based technology teams across onshore and offshore locations.
