The Program Assistant supports a safe, inclusive environment in a Recovery Housing Program by monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and documenting incidents. Responsibilities include maintaining security, assisting with medication observation, supporting searches, facilitating client admissions, and responding to emergencies. They perform administrative tasks such as answering calls, distributing mail, and maintaining records. The role requires experience with substance abuse and mental health issues, a high school diploma, and preferred bilingual skills in Spanish. Certification in First Aid, CPR, and TB clearance are provided. Strong organizational, communication, and cultural competence skills are essential. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs is needed.
