Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Serve as the primary Project Accountant, overseeing project setup, budgeting, and financial tracking.
• 
  
• As the Project Accountant, create and maintain sales agreements and project-related documentation.
• 
  
• Prepare and process AIA billing invoices as part of the Project Accountant role.
• 
  
• Support accounts receivable activities and cash applications.
• 
  
• Review sales and use tax reporting for accuracy while partnering with an outsourced provider.
• 
  
• Collaborate directly with the CFO and Controller on process improvements and special projects as the Project Accountant.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Experience working as a Project Accountant, Senior Accounting Specialist, or in a similar accounting role.
• 
  
• Proven success as a Project Accountant handling project budgets, billing, and project-related accounting activities.
• 
  
• REQUIRED: Experience with Microsoft Navision and/or Microsoft Business Central.
• 
  
• AIA billing experience is strongly preferred for the Project Accountant position.
• 
  
• The ideal Project Accountant will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• 
  
• An accounting degree is preferred but not required; relevant Project Accountant experience is valued more heavily.
•
