Deric is currently looking for a Project Administrative Assistant<\/b> to join its growing electrical construction team in Florida<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/p>

Our expertise includes civil works, process mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, industrial maintenance, and automation, with a strong specialization in water and wastewater infrastructure.<\/span>

This position is based out of Deerfield Beach<\/b> and offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / 3 days remote)<\/b>.<\/span>

What your day -to -day will look like<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Under the supervision of the VP / Project Manager, the Project Administrative Assistant will primarily be responsible for:<\/span>
<\/p>

  • Submitting permit applications and ensuring proper follow -up<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Tracking jobsite personnel documentation and background check requirements<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintaining up -to -date contact lists (project managers, foremen, stakeholders)<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Managing technical documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, revisions, technical changes)<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Following up on equipment and material rentals<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Preparing purchase orders and letters of intent<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Processing daily reports from superintendents/foremen (delivery slips, work orders, filing, and distribution)<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Sending invoices to clients<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Opening and maintaining project files in internal systems<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assisting project managers during project startup<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Supporting project managers with:<\/span>
    <\/li>
    • Preparation, submission, and follow -up of administrative and technical documents<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Document control and filing<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Invoice validation<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • General coordination tasks<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
    • Preparing bid submission documents<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Submitting bids on various platforms<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Following up with General Contractors regarding bid results<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Performing other related tasks required to support the project team<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      • Experience in construction, administration, or project support is an asset<\/span>
